About Birks

Graham Birks is a UK based photographer, cartoonist and designer, who has a friendly and approachable style and manner.

Originally from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Graham has been making his mark in Ipswich, Suffolk since 1995 starting out with studying graphic design at Suffolk College. Here he designed the Student Union logo which was in use for over 10 years.

Part of the degree was traditional black & white photography, using film and an old Olympus OM10 camera. Since then Graham has gone onto digital and has moved into wedding and event photography, covering weddings, portraits and parties throughout East Anglia and London.

Covering a mixture of techniques, from formal shots to candids, classic to imaginative, serious to humourous, Graham can produce stunning results for many situations. Along with trusty colleague Jessica Laws, you can have a fantastic portfolio of your special occasion, while having a fun experience in the process.
